Hi guys, I want to buy Nikon ZF camera but they are so expensive, so I want to ask if anyone knows if their staff members get discounts for this camera.
I have a distant acquaintance who work there but we don't talk much so I don't want to ask him first. Just trying to figure it out here and if it's possible I'll ask him.

Nuh. I’d be happy for someone to hit me up. Depending on the level of discount, I’d just get them to swing me anywhere between 10-25% of the savings for my time/effort.

Up until three weeks ago , my daughter was working for this crowd . Discounts vary dependant on the item , and with her discounts , I'd argue that you'd be better off waiting for a good sale .

I knew a dude from another forum I used to use, he got in trouble for using jb staff discounts for me. Apparently it was not cool for him to ring it up then for me to pay with my card (in person). But apparently whatever the staff does AFTER they buy it with their own card is none of jb’s business…maybe just a floor manager on a power trip at the time

If you have access to union shopper enquire a price through there. It's usually the same price as the friends and family price.
I knew a guy who would give me this price in store and charge $20 for his time. Although then couldn't pay with discounted gift cards.
Going thru union shopper they want you to pay over the phone and then click and collect in store so cannot use gift cards. I just take the price from union shopper and go in store and say "I can get it for this price through union shopper". They have always matched the price and then I proceed to pay with discounted gift cards.
Usually get a decent price through union shopper, but not heavily discounted.
I used to work for JB, the level of discount is not a consistent level between products. It purely depends how much margin JB makes on any given product, that will determine how much any discount is available. Products like accessories are high margin = high discount, products like anything made by Apple or Dyson are low margin = low discount.
That being said you asking OZB first it completely pointless, as ALL products get a discount. Just ask that person how much discount they can get and if they're willing to help you then you'll get the answer you're after.

Hi mate, nuh. The max discount I was offered was 100 dollars. But I managed to get a good discount from DigiDirect. 10% discount with cash rewards and 5% cashback. So the total cost ended up being around $3100 which is pretty good.
As someone who used to be in this situation and have distant acquaintances hit me up for my staff discount, I'd permanently block you.
