    • ozbargain giving me the breaking news thx

Same in UK, just announced. Can't wait for our slave, puppet, experimental Island to follow in Lockstep and announce it also. Hope they don't miss saying the keywords that they're all like parrots repeating last 18 months, pinch and tighten the belt!

      Example:
we're well aware that some (some?) households have been feeling the pinch during these challenging times. We all (all?) need to tighten our belts just a little (little?) bit longer. We'll get out of this, (now insert some super fake and fabricated patriotic bull 💩! That no one understands or believes in, to give them false senses of support, love, hope and pretense like you're one of them slaves and you feel/experience it also on your skin) better and stronger then ever because we're a resilient (one of popular key words lately also) bunch! 🫡💪

How do I vote for you as our next PM?
You've got such a knack for the political BS it's criminal not having you in Canberra to help lie to us all immediately

    • In all seriousness, I’ve been thinking about going to Japan for the snow season?

Would people recommend there, or Queenstown?

Which is the best bang for buck?

      • +1

My vote would be Japan. They have much better resorts and snow conditions, and food. Plus you probably won't have to rent a car to get to the ski fields in Japan, whereas most of the NZ resorts don't really have accommodation on the slopes so people stay in QT and drive to a resort every day.

I was in QT last spring, and everything was more expensive than AU prices. Inflation has hit NZ hard.

      • japan definitely!

    • how does recession impact us practically?

    $1 from temu.

      Temu is rubbish

      • -5

I bought many things there and if you think that Temu is rubbish, either you don't understand buying online or you don't know Aliexpress.

        • +1

I bought many things from Temu and put 90% of it in the bin because it was landfill quality junk. I understand online shopping, and know that Temu is mostly crap.

          • -3

@cook99: I bought many things from Tumu, 2 out of 50 were not as described, I took photos, I made the online claim, instant choice of money back in your bank account or store credit, I chose the latter, I enjoy my life instead of struggling with AliCrap computer bots.
Temu is based in Sydney, most of the time they have every thing you order so you get your stuff in 1-2 weeks, delivery is always free, they give you a free voucher if the delivery is late, you always know how much you pay from the front page instead of having additional taxes added in the shopping basket, no language barrier.
So all you can badmouth here is Temu is rubbish but you can't say anything else so that is the proof that you have a personal problem with Temu.
            Never heard about sockpuppeting rules?

            • +1

@billadm: Sockpuppeting? Mate I've got no affiliation with anyone, I am just sharing my very poor experience on the very poor quality products I purchased from Temu.
Your so called proof of some personal vendetta is about as good as the landfill quality junk I received from them (albeit quickly and free as you point out). I used their services, I was not satisfied, and I shared that experience. End of story.

                @cook99:

                personal vendetta

LOL dude we are not in war LOL

            • @billadm: P.s. I've not even mentioned the spyware allegations against Temu yet, so feel free to add that to your list of 'proof' of Sockpuppeting…

    • -5

There are too many AliTrash fanbois here and they always try to downgrade Temu.

  • In all seriousness, I’ve been thinking about going to Japan for the snow season?

Would people recommend there, or Queenstown?

Which is the best bang for buck?

  • AUD to Japanese Yen is near its all time

What about the cost of life in Japan compared to Australia like for example skiing, accommodation, food and transportation for a tourist?

  • What differentiates these from the myriad of ~$10 balaclavas on Amazon?

  • Is this bulletproof?

    • It’ll still function with a mild hold in it
Not so much for the person wearing it

    That's not a bargain, it's a steal!

Everybody get down. This is the robber.

  • The inner Eastern European in me wants this thing

  • Perfect timing. Heard that Swiftee is in the country. 🤩

  • Out of stock :( You know times are tough when balaclavas are being ozbargained.

  • OOS. Not to worry, pantyhose work just as well, and are probably cheaper. Some men wear hose.
