  • Lenovo 14 inch 7840HS RTX 3060 32gb is possible w this??

    • Yes, just grabbed one myself

      • So how much is it total? and how much total after cashback mate

        • Was $2087 through education store less $250 cash back = $1,837. There is also $94 Lenovo rewards on top of that.

I salary sacrifice it so less gst and tax on that.

          • @jar-unit: There's also a ten dollar discount i got with live chat but would that get me cashback still ? hopeful right…

I might just buy a lenovo xiaoxin pro 14 laptop ryzen 7840HS 780m (gtx 1650 Desktop equiv) instead of the rtx 4060 here.

      • Do you know how long the delivery time is? I just noticed one that said 5 to 6 weeks on a Legion Slim 5

i9 13th Gen 4080 for $3132.92 after cashback. Not bad holding out for 15%

    • +1

Yeah, i was holding out for any discount on this exact one. I pulled the trigger through the edu store there was double rewards points so that was an extra $164 credit i can use later for a spare charger. Seemed reasonable emough for me.

      • Nice, hoping to nab one for $2800~ closer to end of life

  • anything decent within$1200?

    • Legion go 1214 before cb.

  • I ordered a customized X1 carbon earlier this week when they had a flash 12% cashback through shopback. I made the order through a quote with discount I got through one of their sales reps and shopback seems to have accepted it. Not sure what they mean with no negotiated deals, same terms applied.

    • what specs, how much?

      • $2200 for an i5-1345U with 32gb mem and 512gb ssd. Cashback was $265 so total is $1935

    • Good for you but I'd still suggest people assume they won't get it - can still be later refused by Lenovo even if it tracked intially.

  • Just received a 15% off deal directly from Lenovo. So according to the terms and conditions I should be able to double dip.

    • How you get 15% off ? Tia

      • probably through the live chat. Just ask them if they can give you a better deal

      • Nope, it was via email and got a code for it.

Is it for the above laptop? If it is, can you please share how to get it, thanks.

          • @WIND: Nope, it's for any purchase.

            • @colaman: I try to ask chat, but they said there is no 15% off code.

  • Hi, I tried to buy a legion 5 4070 amd laptop through the education store alongside 12% cashback. However Lenovo would not let me proceed my payment and said authentication failed.

I tried multiple payment methods, used different education emails, contacted the bank and lenovo, tried on the public store, different browsers and even different internet but to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues? How do i encounter it?

    Thank you!

    • Mine went through fine ordered earlier today via the education store

  • I know the X1 Carbon Gen 12 is coming, but in case anyone is wanting a customised X1 Carbon Gen 11, this is the deal for you. (I'll be swapping out the 256GB SSD with an existing Samsung 990 Pro 1TB). I purchased through the EDU store.

  • Some of these Lenovo laptops have very long delivery times…like 5 to 6 weeks??? Are these estimates accurate?

    • I never bought from Lenovo in recent times, but as far as I am aware of, those long delivery date machines are shipped from China and not instock at their Australian warehouse, hence the long wait times.
