Durable Garden Arch?

Looking for a durable garden arch (metal or wood) for my front yard and wondering what others have used that have lasted and been reasonably priced.

*I will be using star droppers to hold it in place

I've never seen anything off the shelf that I would be willing to install in my garden, or at least, nothing that will actually hold a plant growing up it. Star droppers are absolutely not firm enough to hold an arch supporting the weight of a mature climbing plant.

If you're not planning to try to grow anything up the arch then go with whatever you like because they're all essentially crap, lightweight as hell, and disposable.

If it were me, I'd have a chat to a local fabricating engineering company or welder about about getting a couple of RHS pipes rolled over a curve and then have some sheets of 100x100x4mm galvanized fence mesh welded between the two.

Allow for at least 800mm of post in the ground, 2400mm head clearance, and whatever width matches your path +300mm or so either side. You'll need to pay for delivery, but you could install yourself if you can dig 4 post holes and pick up 8 bags of premix from Bunnings, or a delivery of mini-mix concrete.

It'll look absolutely fine, but if you can get some climbers growing up it you eventually won't be able to see much of it regardless.
