Have anyone used FirstTable?

After EatClub, theFork, Dimmi and cant remember who else, we now have FirstTable.
Received an email the other day about 50% off booking-fee.
They charge $10 booking fee!?

Curious to know if anyone have used them, and feedback please.
Bonus point if you are from Queensland.

Cheers,

It's generally only 50% off food and a lot of them seem to have a "must purchase drink" policy. I prefer eatclub personally as it's anonymous and off the entire bill. Sometimes I'm even cheeky and stack it with the entertainment book 🤭
From Brisbane (thanks for the bonus point)

    • Hello BrisVegas!
Hope you get to use your Bonus Point hehe.

Entertainment Book.. that sounds ancient. Should I get it?

Haha it's alright, I get it when it's half price or get a year free or free multi city upgrade etc.

2 Visits with the family usually makes my money back plus a little, and I use it a lot more than twice a year! I think you can look at the deals without purchasing to see if you think you can get value out of it

Why did I read this as fistTable… many things came to mind…

I'm in Sydney. I don't eat out much. I have not heard of FirstTable. I also have not heard of EatClub, TheFork, and Dimmi. But I have heard of and used Open Table before. No complaints.

I’ve used them several times, had great experiences with them. The only downside is you’re limited to max 4 ppl per booking so you can’t go with a big group of friends.

Have used it here in Melbourne.

First time the restaurant tried to charge me full price when they bought the bill, so had to awkwardly mention I booked through first table and they took AGES to bring me an updated bill.

    Other than that it's decent

We use them all the time. It is a very good money saver if you have children and need to eat early.

    Yes used it numerous times

the $10 booking fee is insignificant if you order all the expensive stuff on the menu you normally wouldn't touch
