Recieved Two Parcels with My Name, Address and Number from New Zealand That I Never Ordered

All I have is company name and address (the address is just NZ Post Australia office) and the company name doesn't really give much info since they are related to reverse logistics (returns warranties etc.) which is reflected in the parcels received.

The only thing I remember buying from NZ was a computer motherboard which I guess I did have a warranty issue for (just needed one little extra screw delivered) but seller hasn't contacted me in ages about it.

Not sure how to proceed I'll give NZ post a call, tracking number just says it came from New Zealand doesn't give a NZ address. One parcel is worth around $400, a new vacuum cleaner head, other about $50 to $100. They do look like they were intended as part of warranty replacements, so the vacuum is just head without all the attachments (I opened them up unaware what it was/ aka maybe some long lost AliExpress parcel I ordered - in my defence they had all my details on the front)

EDIT: turned out it was the motherboard company and the ram was actually the screw in a reused ram anti static cover. Sending the vacuum cleaner back, took them like 2 weeks to realise.

Call them and ask. You’ll feel good about yourself for a long time.

    Only 2 bags full 🤔

You don't happen to live down a lane ?

  • Love the "NZ post australia office"….. gave up trying to understand after that sheep loving remark.

  • I once got vacuum parts in the mail unexpectedly. Turned out there was some recall notice kinda thing, and they were sending out improved power adaptors to all customers.

  • It could be part of an elaborate scam, Brushing scams: What to do if you receive ‘free’ goods in the mail without ordering them

  • I recently got a free Air Purifier sent to me by a company I have only bought from once, about two years ago. Had my name and address on the label, but wrong contact number.
