Cheapest mobile plan / PAYG?

As I need to keep my existing # (currently out of contract with Virgin Mobile) and already got another post paid # so this one just to receive calls.
Wondering any others cheap option beside Amaysim $5 /3 months?

    Depending on how long you want to keep your number. TPG has a $1 PAYG plan.. just that they charge you $41 upfront to get started.

    A true Ozbargainer might choose to get a Lebara Mobile SIM for free - it is active for 120 days. Repeat process with various other providers of free SIMs. No cost. Or just pay $5 for Savvytel, Pennytel, etc and save some hassle. What would one do for $5??? The frugal/cheap conundrum!!
