  • It's still a decent price. I got one. Thanks OP.

Since this is being sold by Amazon, 5% price beat is possible at Officeworks… good luck as it's a mega discount (O/W has this for $199)

    • Got it for $77.24. The staff needed to get authorisation for it. How much mark up is there on memory cards?

      • A 1TB at OW is $399 compared to $180 on Amazon. It's a joke.

        • Given it costs nearly nothing to ship and store those, the margin should not be this significant. Can’t think of anything other than people are happy to pay that much… ‘Tech is expensive’

  • How do these compare to the Samsung EVO plus? Im looking to get an SD card for my drone so wanted to see if there is a big difference between them?

Slower, it's around 130MB/s for both read and writes. Half the read speeds of the SanDisk.

Probably not much difference when recording, however downloading it back to PC would be almost half the speed which is a big difference.

      • As long as you are using a supported card reader. Note that not even all Sandisk UHS-II card readers support the SanDisk Extreme PRO and are capped at UHS-I ~100MB/s e.g. SanDisk ExtremePro UHS-II SD Reader SDDR-409-G46.

  • Got one. Thanks OP 😊 JB did price match but the deliver only in mid march. Went with Amazon instead.

  • bought, thx OP.

  • Got one from OW yesterday was comparing with the Samsung pro plus 512g

The one from Amazon comes with a free data recovery software, so depends on what you want, but $4 something for a recovery software sounds ok tho
