  • Are the kayano 30s mens true to size or should I size up/down?

    • +2

I've worn Kayanos in the past (up until 26s) and they have always been true to size - recently tried the 30 and found my big toe was touching the top of the toe box - going a half-size up seemed to fix it

      • Thanks for the tip! Im size 9.5 us with new balance so will get size 10 tomorrow

        • I would say true to size, i got the 30s and personally dont like them. Differing opinion but stick to the 9.5 as thats the size i am too :)

  • Oh no they are red, they wont let me into the clubs

    • Eshay shoes?

      • Drill rapper shoes of choice representing from the Mount Druitt 2770

  • 28 29 30 which one to get?

    • 30

      • Different how? I have the 30's but haven't tried the 29's

          • @G-rig: Totally agree, im going back to the 29s, they are just sharper and the cushioning is massive overkill for me.

  • Thanks!
Just picked up some Gel-Kayano 30s!

  • +1

30's are a real departure in look and feel from the 29s and earlier designs.
They are a lovely run though, despite my initial reservations.

  • Oh what’s with all these width sizes?

    • +1

D-width I believe is medium and what I see the most so assume is standard. E is wider (usually 2E) and B is narrower. I have no idea why they use the letters. C is regular but never see it and also see 4E which is extra wide. Confused the hell out of me at the start.

  • Looks like my size is out of stock as usual (13's).

I'm just getting into running again and currently using the Kayano 30's which I'm liking. Typically doing runs on a training plan ranging from 6-12km to build up speed for a 5km race.

Advice/ideas needed for those more experienced:

What would be some good shoes to look at for speed/faster runs and race day? These will typically be 5-8km.

Worth looking at anything with even more cushion for recovery runs and walking around?

I expect to use the 30's for most runs but like the idea of having different feels/gears on some runs and also so the 30's last a bit longer.

  • These or nimbus?

  • Just got my 30s delivered - super fast shipping and they are perfect!
