I'd be interested to know if anyone was able to enter their details. I got about half way through and it just said thanks for my submission. Maybe my selections weren't what they were after.

I submitted successfully. Took me 14 minutes and only 134 questions.

    • Thanks. Did it ask you for your contact details? Mine submits, but never asks for contact details.

But my friend got 90% of the way through and then got the premature Thankyou like Shaneb :(

Yeah, after my name, number, email it said something like “Thanks for the submission; you’ve been entered into the draw”. I think you need to say Yes to nearly all the “Are you interested in…?” or “Do you follow…?” type questions to satisfy their requirements.

    • Thanks. I'll give that a try in the morning. Over it today.

Yes, exaggerate your interest in all things racing! Maybe I’ll have a good chance of winning this one if most people get ejected from the survey before the end.

    • I'm in finally. Kind of sad that you have to exaggerate things to be entered.

      13) Entries will be reviewed by the Promoter– Speedcafe.com. The Promoter reserves the right
to verify the validity of entries. Entries may be accepted or rejected at the Promoter’s absolute
discretion. Entries deemed to not comply with these conditions of entry will be deemed invalid
and the entrant will not be eligible to win the prize.

I wonder if they are going to verify anything based on the responses in the survey?

I think clauses like that are pretty common. Of the few wins I've had, they mainly want to confirm the contact details provided. Will see I guess if we are lucky enough to win.

Possibly worth persevering for the high value of the prize. But defeats the purpose of them doing surveys if people just lie & tell them what they want to hear!

    • Yeah exactly my thoughts. Lots of rubbish survey results.

I managed to complete the survey and submit. Definitely helps if you like motorsports already otherwise you might be a bit lost on some questions.

Hope I win. I dropped my entire socket set on the ground on the weekend and I'm dreading having to find all the sockets and sort them out in order to put them back in the tool tray…

Good luck. My tools are typically spread through the house, wherever I last fixed something. An organised toolbox would be brilliant.

  • Don't waist your time with this survey!! It'l kick you out if you answer something it doesn't like
