Kogan always has terrible software. The software is so bad. There’s no way that the software based image stabilisation is going to be even decent. I’d avoid this at all costs.
It says 6 axis stabilisation so that's implying hardware based stabilisation and shouldn't be mangled by their software.
I actually had a 5yo version of this with no stabilisation that was only 1080p and did pretty good! Great for spearfishing and diving but then the seal broke. Replaced it last year and the replacement (4k) was horrid in comparison.

I say this respectfully, get a better camera. You're onto potentially your third Kogan action cam. Invest in perhaps a DJI Action 3 (~$300). At least you'll get quality and it will last you a very long time.
Look into the insta360 for buttery smooth. Do all your panning in post!
