Steak - more complete protein profile, far more bio-available and cheaper per gram of protein actually absorbed ;)

That won't work for Vegans though…

      • They have bigger problems to worry about, ie Vitamin B12, D3, K2, Creatine, Carnosine, EPA, DHA, Heme Iron, Taurine, etc

None of which are generally covered by any "protein powder"!

    • Whey is the most absorbable and is a complete protein.

      • Compared to steak, whey has no Creatine and, at best, trace amounts of Carnosine …

"Complete" only refers to the nine essential amino acids, it does not refer to the other 11 that are critical for "absorption" (see video above)

Creatine, the 1c supplement? Carnosine is produce by the body.

Whey is the most bioavailable (absorbable) source of protein and then eggs is second. Whether its lower in non essential amino acids compared to beef does not change this.

By a demented vegan that can't even read the science ;)

But hey, got to keep the cult uneducated with wool over the eyes at all points!

DIAAS is based on many standardized testing methods in multiple research labs - notice the total denial of even well published DIAAS data …

You will also notice below one video the words:
Link to PDF of transcript with sources: / 59889994 (Public link)
To source material you can read yourself …

Guess which video has the same sources, but a different "interpretation" of sources mentioned?!?

Read the links, it's easy to see which is far more aligned to the "links provided"

It seems you didn't watch it. He makes several good arguments to why the DIAAS data is irrelevant to humans. Some of which are that their data is from testing the start of the colon of oversized, over-fed pigs being given poor quality food.

@RickyJ: LOL read the sources, there is only one video that mis-represents the actual source papers ;)

But the cult will give you your social justice points for linking vegan propaganda :P

            • @7ekn00: I just scanned the first source, the 436 page document, as you and the guy in my video suggested; and found the same things as the guy in my video: The guy in your video misrepresented the data. See page 68.

Across all age groups and in both males and females, nearly 60 percent of the U.S. population meets the protein foods intake recommendation. Although some groups in the U.S. population do not consume recommended amounts from the protein foods group, intakes of protein (as grams/day) are adequate across the population and protein is not a shortfall nutrient.

Seems like a very small list…

    My favourite is Mumbai Muscle; it’s New York’s number-one, Desi-owned, non-GMO, chickpea-based protein

Isn't protein powder only useful if you don't get enough protein in your diet? Unless you're doing an incredible amount of exercise or not eating enough, I fail to see how your body would even use the protein in this powder if it's already got enough from your meals.

Nothing wrong with having some protein powder to hit your protein target.

Bulk Nutrients have the best tasting - try Choc Peanut flavour

    • I liked choc icecream better

  • The landscape might've changed since I used to go to the gym, but Bulk Nutrients and VPA used to be my go to's.

  • I use Ghost. I like their flavours and they add lactase to their products to make them (close to) lactose free. I went through the rigmarole of trying Macro Mike, various vegan proteins etc and found this one worked best for me.

    Where is the vegan option?

  • Beefcake 3000?

  • What are typical prices for bn on sale? Something similar to the aminoz credit back deals we get here?

    • I see a lot of comments saying bn is cheaper than aminoz. But shipping kills it. Bn is $43 + $8 shipping for wpi and amino Z is $44 + free shipping.

  • Optimum Nutrition - Gold Standard

Any advantages over aminoz and bulk Nutrients?

  • Vital Strength
