Ive splashed out on Foxtel this year to get F1 in 4k
So far Im not seeing any 4k coverage, qualifying seems to be HD, the F1 TV app is also HD
Are the actual races provided in 4k or do I get my money back
Yes I know its a lot for a bit of sport but wanted to give it a shot for a year :-)
My experience last season with Kayo is that the F1 is not in 4k, only HD, so must be new
Kayo is just as junk as Foxtel, lack of continuation of play etc was very frustrating

How are you to resume watching WrestleMania in multiple sittings? You have to remember the timestamp and scroll through to it on every occasion. It's terrible

Are you watching the F1 using an iQ4/iQ5 box or streaming via Kayo or Foxtel Now?

I enjoyed pre-season testing and the first sessions P1 P2 and qualifying in 4k
For pre-season testing they had dedicated 4k channels you selected in the normal way
With Bahrain they only have the HD channels listed P1 Qualifying race etc but when you select the channel to watch or record its asks if you would like to watch or record in 4k

I think my box stuffed out, they did a hard reboot and it’s recorded last nights races in 4k. When trying to record the normal show it didn’t prompt me about quality. It’s a bit clunky but working now
I really expected the F1 TV functionality on the goxtel box to be 4k but it only gets sent out in 1080p, what a waste
Yes F1 TV in 4k would be awesome. Love that site and the in-car feeds which from memory and at a glance appear to be still in SD
Yeah the in car feeds are low quality. Dont know why F1TV dont push 4k it ruins the extra features you get with that setup
