  • Whats the catch?

      If you like the software and have a need for payroll later on then that's a paid option.

      But there's no catch really for our starter plan.

    • Gimbla Payroll is only available to Australian businesses. It is free for up to 4 employees, with an additional charge of AUD1.50 per month for each additional employee. The cost is capped at a maximum of 20 employees

  • Looks good. Can it do recurring invoices and auto email out? Overdue reminder? What are the fees for credit card processing (payment on invoice)?

      • Recurring invoices with auto email out is available on our PLUS PLAN
      • We use Stripe for credit card processing so whatever is their current rate. I think it's 1.70% + 0.30 cents at the moment.
  • Starter Monthly Fee $0.00 AUD
    * Unlimited Invoicing & Quotes
    * Unlimited Payments & Receipts
    * Unlimited Users

  • Why can you not just download the free software but have to log in?

      Dude, it's free. Just log in

  • I m using zoho books desktop for invoice / expense etc together with zoho apps for for 6 years now and its easy to use with no catch.

    • I fold the toilet paper for as long as I can remember. It's easy and usually it catches it all.

      Oh sorry, I thought we were just saying stuff about ourselves that has no bearing on anything in this thread.

  • Anyone tried this? Xero or MYOB would be my first choice but free option doesn't hurt..

      Always good to have new competitions :-)

  • Looks useful, I’ve had a couple of friends looking for recommendations, nice to have an Australian Wave alternative.

    How does it handle salaries beyond hourly rates? IMO this is where a lot of software solutions fall over (not surprisingly, it’s hard to get right).

    • Our payroll offers hourly rate as well as salaries. You are right, payroll can be quite complex with different awards and regulations.

  • Trying to import my statement, I've copied my data which is formatted correctly, click continue but nothing happens?

    • Can you make sure that you have copied the header as well?

      • Yep header is copied

        • Ok try refreshing the browser and upload it again. It should work now.

  • Looks nice. Will give it a go

    • Thanks for giving us a go @yourflights. Much appreciated.
