Anyone Have Any Aegean Airlines Discount Codes

Hi all, I’m going to Italy and Greece soon and I’m wondering if anyone knows of any working Aegean Airlines discount codes (for flights in March/April 2024). I can see there’s meant to be some sort of Cosmote discount offer but I’m unsure on how to find/get one of those so if you have access to one of these (probably a long shot) and you’re willing to share, I’d be very grateful!
Feel free to share any tips or tricks with getting cheaper flights or just travelling with Aegean in general :)
Oh and does anyone know if the personal item and carry on have to weigh 8kg combined or is it 8kg for carry on and the personal item is just extra?
Thanks

  • Why Aegean?
There is some cheap business class flights in q suites at the moment Singapore to Athens.

  • I’ll be in Italy already so I’m looking for flights from Italy to Athens

Go to flightconnections.com and work out who flies from the airport in Italy you're wanting to use. Chances are at least one of Ryanair, Volotea and Easyjet will also fly out of the airport concerned and may well be cheaper, even after bundling a checked bag…

If you're booking a Light Fare, it's either an 8kg carry-on (overhead compartment) or a personal item that fits under the seat, not both. "Flex, Family, ComfortFlex & Saver Fare" is both an 8kg carry-on, plus the personal item. ComfortFlex & Saver also include 1 piece up to 23kg checked baggage.

I don't know anything about discount codes but I like Aegean, they tend to serve a snack and drink.

    • Thanks. Do you know if you can get away with a small, light backpack (daypack style) as your personal item with Aegean? I’m hoping to do the trip with a carry on and back pack/day pack and it’s be nice to avoid extra baggage fees

It's at the discretion of the boarding agents. Sometimes they check, sometimes they don't. Light fares board last, so by that point they may be on the lookout for those trying to sneak in an extra item.

What I would do is put the backpack in the carry-on and wear a couple extra layers. Then when boarded, take it off and take it out.

If you're booking with a Visa card VISAFEB24OC works for 20% off the fare cost.

    • Unfortunately, I think that only works for dates after May 1st :(
