  it has a 2.5 or 3.5 analog video input and so it'll work good for cars over than say a decade that do not have a reverse cam…

  Bought one very similar to this on AliExpress. If this is anything like my one when you have Bluetooth hands-free already in your car this will keep trying to overtake your call and make it impossible to use your in-car Bluetooth.

  This is made worse by the hands-free being average audio quality.

  I disable phone calls in the Bluetooth settings of my phone but it just re-enables in 10 seconds later.

    This is a problem with the phone. Mine is the same. You should be able to enable A2DP profile for this unit, and HSP for car, but at some point that stopped working in Android. (Never did in IOS??)

    What you do is phone connects over wifi (or usb) to Carplay or Android Auto on this, and then tablet connects to car bluetooth. No wired audio connection.
    No need for BT on phone, and it should all work with car controls.

  As a seller of these on another website the cheaper ones are running an older firmware which is prone to freezing/crashing.
  Great price if you go into this knowing the product is low quality.

  Also if you aren't parked in shade the whole device will turn off after a while in the sun.

      They’re great cheaper alternatives to a full install, just have the problems of something cheap lol
