(eBay) Quantity Glitch? Title Says “2x …” for 1x Item

Hi all, first forum post I hope I’ve done it correctly.

I’ve just bought this item last night thinking it was a steal for 2x, only to find in my email receipt that the title no longer says 2x. I went back and looked closer and via the above link the title shows 2x, but I realise now that the item details confirm only 1 item and if I’d looked closer in my cart, that also drops the “2x”.

Seller says it’s never said 2x and seemingly isn’t keen on a cancellation despite me sending a screenshot.

Has anybody seen this before? Couldn’t find anything online about it.

    The seller wants to refund me “directly” and is offering to post me a gift “for the apology of the display problem” if I do.

    Alarm bells or just helping a seller avoid eBay fees/penalty or something?

    No, insist on them using PayPal….. unless you'd like your next post to be -re you being scammed by the eBay seller…

    i would report the listing and request a refund
