Usually $14.95. Seems to be free delivery without Dashpass and no service fee. If it tries to charge you a $3 small order fee, just add a $0.50 tomato extra to bring it over the $15 threshold, so you pay $0.50 instead of $3. Some members have said the small order fee is removed as well at checkout. Alternatively you can pick up if you are on the road, there is no small order fee on pick up.

    If it keeps saying make sure your cart has the required item message when trying to apply the big Carl promo does it mean it's finished? I clearly added the big Carl burger $15.45 with tomato Melb.

      On the store page where you order, there should be a section for promo item or something, rather than adding it from the regular menu.

      Edit: Possibly it's finished? I can't tell as I already ordered.

    I scheduled an order for lunch and it hasn’t made any progress on the tracker despite the delivery estimate being now overdue.

    Went back to the store page on DoorDash and it now says temporarily closed to DoorDash. What’s the chances I’m getting my burger?

    I also saw this happen with the GYG promo. Stores just turn off DD.

        yeah makes me think the restaurants just avoid the promos either to reduce demand in store and or pay less commission to DD. Why send out all these free burgers when we could turn it off and sell them in store..

        Customer support offered no solution other than a refund. Not a lot of help that’ll do for a free burger!

        Same boat - restaurant (Thomastown, Vic) claimed they never received the order and DoorDash cancelled. Talking to a customer service agent from DoorDash now - added $21 credit to my account.

I preordered at 12pm, by 1pm the system said it was waiting for a driver to be assigned but eventually went to chat and they said the store hadn't confirmed order and asked if I wanted them to call the store. When calling them, the store said they didn't have the order so agent cancelled the order and gave $28.69 credit, which was generous.

              @hamza23: Yes, DO NOT cancel your order. The auto refund only gave me $3.

              The chatbot did not provide an option to chat to an agent. You have to type into the chat that you want to talk to an agent.

    Really poor showing by DD and Carls. Several Carls stores are showing as “closed”. Apparently the stores are having issues “receiving orders”.

    After contacting support to chase up scheduled order, it got cancelled and wasn’t even given any credit. Had to fight to get $10 and then push for more, resulting in just $14.95 credit for the value of the burger. Disappointing but would have been a great deal if it worked!

    Lol, I scheduled an order for today, a week after the promo, and they still refused to honor it, claiming “technical problems” (although strangely they were still accepting orders on DoorDash). They gave a crappy $5 credit as well so disappointing experience all round.
