"Wall Foldable" Treadmill

So, I've decided to turn my tiny apartment into a fitness paradise by setting up a home gym. I'm thinking of getting some wall foldable gym equipment like a treadmill or workout bench.

I've got a budget of around $5000, which I'm willing to spend on something that won't break down on me after a few uses. I just want something reliable that will last me a few years without causing me any headaches with repairs or replacements.

Something like the following wall rack, but I'm looking for a treadmill instead.

Thanks!

  • Could be a stupid question but why wall mounted treadmill? Most of them are quite heavy and most can be folded up to some degree when not used. I’m personally considering a sole f63, about 2k. But treadmills by design can still be a bit of a money sink. And if need repairs can be painful.

    • Well, my apartment is so small, it's like living in a sardine can. I need to make the most of every inch of space, or I might accidentally trip over my couch while trying to exercise.

Could be a stupid question, but you sure your building doesn't already have a gym?

    • Lol, yes I am sure!

Most people that attempt this, end up quitting and the equipment gathers dust, until it ends up on Facebook market place, eBay etc. it would be much cheaper to buy second hand.
Check the weight limit on foldable equipment, as it’s normally pretty lightweight.
    Good luck

Most decent treadmills fold up. Check out nordictrack around 2 grand

  • Gumtree or side of the road, significantly cheaper.

$5k would buy you years at the gym, assuming your apartment building doesn't have a free one.

A true ozbargainer would use the footpath outside and make money at the same time by collecting discarded drink containers to cash in.
