ANZ Frequent Flyer Black Card Annual Fee

Hi, my ANZ Frequent Flyer Black credit card is up for renewal.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience getting a fee waiver or at least a discount? Including the Qantas rewards fee, it costs an eye-watering $425 a year.

  Banks aren't allowed to entice customers from cancelling after the royal commission, so be careful how you phrase it - e.g. "I don't see $425 value from this card, are you able to waive the AF to make this card more valuable to me?" rather than "Can you waive the fee, otherwise I will cancel."

    Keep in mind they may just offer to transfer your card to a product with lower fees. Also they track the worth of the account to them.
