  • Is this the same type as the black model in WW for $38.80 discounted?
Is color of the Wok the only difference?

    • +2

That's different model, cook right vs perfect cook - WW one is "except induction", this one "including induction

    Over 70% off
    $49 (RRP $170)

    Looks like normal price

  • +1

How is $170 for a wok justified?

    • +7

No one pays RRP for kitchen stuff.

Edit: Also buying a non-stick Wok is just plain silly. High heat and non-stick does not mix.

    • because of its Wok Hei….uncle Roger says so

I hate how Tefal now have so many product range.
It's hard to tell by the name, which one are inferior range, which one are (supposed to be) durable range

Their website list some ranges, but that's not everything

    Comparisons to RRP are misleading.
    Readily available for $60-$80

    • It's Tefal who set that price.

      • Realise that.. but have a look at POK website and see how many items are listed for sale at RRP…

Was this ever $170 from this store?

        • no idea. These are probably not worth the price set at RRP but POK and other stores will always base the price off the supplier/maker and that is what RRP is.

  • Have been very happy with the wok bought from Woolworths.cost $22, can be even cheaper if they are on sale.

Really missed back in the days when these Tefal woks were all under $30 when they on sale at BigW

  • Only an idiot would buy a non-stick wok, the concepts are incompatible

    • Get why it needs a flat base, but to me I'd argue it is closer to a deep frying pan than a wok anyway.

      • Yeah, doesn't seem all that well named unless you're in marketing, I suspect

    • +4

some people need non stick with a deep base. call it whatever you want but I think this has it's own use case.

    • About as useful as an air conditioner on a microwave

  • +1

    Any wok hei with this?

    • +1

      No, just burnt teflon

  • Height?

  • Don't ever buy a nonstick wok, it's pointless. They are a bad product and straight up should not exist. You want high heat for wok cooking, and high heat destroys nonstick coatings.

Get a carbon steel wok if you want one.
