      The 60mm isn't a real popular focal length. On the other hand, that 45mm f1.8 is one hell of a portrait lens. Cashback brings it down into the range of grey pricing but with Australian warranty.

      Arrrghhh, I've been eyeing this lens off for weeks now…. Don't do this to me Ozbargain - I've just started getting some decent savings going again.

        Agree 45mm f1.8 is a great portrait lens - I bought one for around $310 on ebay. Yeah 60mm isn't a real popular focal length - the selling point for the 60mm is the macro.

    I purchased the OM-D 12-50mm kit for around $1,200 a month ago from Myer [missed this promotion :(] when they had 20% off cameras. A couple of weeks later they had 15% off cameras so I think people can probably afford to wait for a sale to get better prices. The promotion period goes until the end of Jan so there will be Christmas and Boxing day sales before then.

      Damn, I thought $1320 was a good deal. (I had to go hunting to get it in Black at the time.)

      This doesn't apply to the camera though, nor the lens kit, just lenses.

    by all accounts the EPL-5 is the same camera as the OMD but without an EVF and without weathersealing. I'd go for one of those (having owned the OMD) and then pairing it with a 45 1.8. Great combo, DSLR quality for $1k.
