Comes down to $5290 on LG with VIP pricing.

    • How? I don't see any differently?

  • AI 🥴

    • Right? Literally f’ing everything.

        But is it Y2K complaint?!

    • AI will literally never be good on TVs unless and until the manufacturers put beefier hardware in them.

Put some actually high-end smartphone hardware in your TVs at the very least. Something like the Snapdragon 870, 888 or even the 8+ Gen 1 with a WiFi 7 module should be the gold standard for TV SoCs.

I can't justify this sort of money…..is what I said until I saw this in a friend's living room.

It's a beast of a tv. however I will say, you can get about 80% of the image and deepish blacks with a decent mini-LED.

but what 20% extra the OLED has.. infinite blacks, insane response time, viewing angles, motion blur etc.

    • Mini LED also has infinite blacks when you’re watching bordered content, but obviously it isn’t as good as OLED for content that’s actually INSIDE the border.

    Great price on the S90C.

  • S90C 77 inch is $3739 currently on the Samsung edu store

    • Do you have a link you could share please? Are there any special requirements to get it at that price?

      • +3

I don't have access via "edu" but can access just via being a Westpac customer. Once logged in on the Westpac app, in the top right corner there is a head & shoulders silhouette - click on that.

You can then see "Rewards & Offers" - click on that

Then you can see "Offers & Rewards" (sic) - click on that, & then scroll down till you see Samsung & click on that
