EBL Batteries Seem to Be BS with Their Capacity. 1100 Claimed Vs 750

So I picked up a set of AA and AAA EBL batteries. The AAA were advertised as 1100 mah capacity. Not one of them was better than 750 mah which is really disappointing. The thing that really sucks is I could have just picked up the cheap IKEA ones. They are advertised as 750 mah and that's what you get.

I'm in the process of testing the AA batteries and will report back!

  • From Amazon? Omg lucky almost bought the colourful ones

    • They're the ones I bought. From EBL store.

  • I thought that was normal… Bought a few from eBay… Same…

    • Return for refund, item not as described

      • Sorry for the confusion. I knew it will be fake capacity before I placed the order.

  • Just bought 4x1750 maH and 4x 2450 maH from IKEA three days ago and used break-in facility ( 5x charge / discharge cycles) on my maxx charger before use. 1750 maH now charge to 1960 maH, and 2450maH already at 2690maH and not quite finished 5th cycle.
I have used eneloops, Eveready and Aldi brands all perform succesfully for more than +5-10 years on regular usage in SLR Camera external flash and many other electronic equip. My original batteries bought with charger just failed after 13 years by using refresh facility on a regular basis. Good battery care prolongs life

  • Sounds like the Dyson replacement battery I bought that was 10,000mAh… It lasted about 3~5 mins of vacuuming… When I opened it up, it had 18650 batteries in it with 1950mAh emblazoned on the side… After testing the single cells, the came back at about 1,400mAh each.

I have found that if a battery seller is flapping their gums, they are lying.
