Hmmm, it doesn't quite outdo the $799 one with a higher spec CPU, motherboard, PSU and double the storage… Tough sell I reckon.

I regret not grabbing this for an emulation box and some TV gaming

    • but the parts here are from well known brand, and it's ready to ship :p i was worry about the waiting time of that $799 deal and ended up with an used pc on fb with higher specs :D

      • Lexar NM620 that is used for this build is a gen 3 SSD when LEGEND 800 Techfast's build is a gen 4 SSD. Of course, I wouldn't touch either one of them, but still…

  • Techfast did it better and cheaper.

Now we just need them to deliver it. Already past the upper limit of the dispatch time and I don't believe anyone has received yet. I know I haven't

      • Are you implying they're scammers?

Anyway, here's your answer to where they are, they're being apparently built this week: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15052901/redir

        • Didn’t imply that at all mate - simply brought up that the deals are currently behind the advertised dispatch times

I've always liked BPC tech's build, but this offer is frankly underwhelming. I could build a similarly spec-ed PC under $1000, but with either 5600 or 5600G AND with an OS. I think BPC could have at least offered a SSD with dram cache if the company was to ask $1199 for the system.

  • Sorry to hijack your post OP, but just have a few questions, I recently purchased a Lian Li Vision 3 Black case with a Z73 AIO to build my first computer and just wanted to see if stores will ship just parts so I can put i all together. What would you recommend parts wise from your prebuilts if you do ship items individually for some 3D printing, bit of gaming (DoTa/CS)?
