Seeing there's some interest, I will leave the code until the 25th for those keen.

Hi everyone, my partner and I just launched our online Tea Shop a few weeks ago and now that we built up some stock we can finally offer some discounts. We'd really appreciate the support considering we are a two person small Australian business.
All teas are hand blended by us in Newcastle, NSW and are 100% Organic. I think there's something for everyone of those who like teas (and also perfect now that the weather will start to cool down). Here are some recommendations:

Blue Moon: A colour changing minty tea that makes a cool party trick if you add a slice of lemon.
Dawn: Our tea blend for all those black tea lovers.
Starry Night: A sleep time tea with chamomile and lavender.
Outer Rim: A caffeine free chai.
White Tiger: Another chai, but this one has caffeine.
Daydream: This is one of my faves, with lemon verbena and a hint of chamomile. So good for night time.
Green Goddess: Premium Sencha green tea with jasmine.
Orient Express: A minty cacao husk blend. If you never tried a cacao tea you should give this one a try, specially if you like chocolate.

If you are not sure what to pick, let us know and we'll try to give you some recommendations.

Thanks!

Yeah but any bargains though or just using OzB for free advertising?

As mentioned below this seems very expensive.

That's a fair question, would love to give a better deal. I apologize if this comes across as just free advertisement.
Seems the general consensus it's that is not good enough and I totally understand it, so I'll take this down and bring something better if we can grow enough to offer a better deal.

$25 for 55g containing 20-22 serves does not strike me as good value…$1+ per cup of tea? How is that value?

10% is a standard discount for new email signups, very meh.

    This is Ozbargain not Oz-we-just-launched-a-business-and-want-free-advertising.

Agree with person above - Wow this is expensive tea! I bought some very nice tea in Japan recently and it was much cheaper than this. Would need to be a 50% off coupon to put it in a reasonable price range.

  • I find the pricing scheme very confusing. Everything looks like around the same price ($21-25), but the sizing is different, with the smallest being ~30g, and the largest being ~150g. That's a five times difference in price per unit. I would appreciate it if you perhaps also listed a unit price, or sold things based on a single, or a few sizes.

    • Hi! That's because every tea uses different ingredients which effectively changes the weight. So for those that are herbal, leaves are usually lighter that for example certain flowers or other materials (like cacao husks).
Because the servings are based on standard tbsp or tsp the number of servings don't vary (even though the weights are different). Also it's limited by what you can fit inside the jar.

      • Fair enough. But if that's the case, it may be worthwhile to list the volume of your jars/pouches.

That's really good advice. Being new to starting a business these are the things that you miss. Thanks!
