    The best socks!

  • Personally waaaay too slippery for me, I really can’t do high poly socks.

    • -2

its 26% poly, what are you talking about?

      72% cotton

      • +3

I'm guessing StiSupafly considers 26% poly as high, no?

        • -3

im scared to see his school grades if he considers 26% high, lmao

          • +1

@Hugh G Rection: "High" is a comparative term in this context. For example, air made up of 15% carbon dioxide will likely kill you if breathed for an extended time period. This 15% is absolutely considered "high". I'm scared to see you high school grades.

@Never pay retail: Probably was high in school

            • +1

@Never pay retail: true, but the poly in this is for moisture wicking properties. i wouldn't want to walk around in 100% cotton socks, image the wetness and moisture that would just stay there.

              • @Hugh G Rection: Totally agree. I was just trying to provide an explanation of how 26% could be considered high to someone. I assume StiSupaFly prefers socks with some poly but just in a lower percentage.

      • Not sure if ur clicking on a different one out of the selection, linked one shows 57% Polyester, 42% Cotton, 1% Spandex. I have purchased before and after trying one pair donated the rest.

        • i clicked on the one that is on sale, the others are extremely expensive like $69

i bought some and i will let you know. it should be 72% Cotton, 26% Polyester, 2% Spandex.

this justifies your complaint and makes more sense with a material breakdown of 57% polyester and 42% cotton.
I would agree with that assessment.

lol, i thought you were crying about only 26% poly when the majority is 72% cotton. that would just be crazy, lol.

  • 72% Cotton, 26% Polyester, 2% Spandex

These are excellent socks. I wear them with work boots, and they've held up really well.

  • cheers got 1 set. They are padded as well. will test it out.

  • Are these good with everyday business shoes??

    • +2

no, quarter socks are too short to wear with business shoes

      • thanks

  • is size 5-9 smaller than 6-12??

  • Mine is coming up as $28.88? Has the deal expired??

    • +1

      yep, looks like it expired

      • Doh, I needed new socks :(

  • Oos

  • so many bogus sizes, 6-12 6 - 12 Large all the same?

    • yes, all the same. i would just go for the cheapest one imo

  • Anyone here prefer socks without elastic at the top? I'm finding they are difficult to buy without $$$

    • didn't know these existed, are these the ones you need to wear sock suspenders with like in the old days?

      • No, but you must tolerate them slipping/rotating.

Personally I hate the tight fit from elastic more than I hate the slip.

Sometimes elastic free socks are marketed as diabetic socks, hence the premium often charged. Even though it's cheaper/easier to make…

Actually I have no idea what a sock suspender is. Sounds like a joke :)
