  • Does anyone knows about the dinings offer ? Can we use it twice on same day (about 10 mins apart) in the same restaurant ?

    • Yes because it’s a percentage off. You can’t do it with different people though. They can see how many people are at your table

      • +1

Well, we can pretend we didn't know each other or accidentically see at the restaurant. I like to know if their screen will be able to detect that the card just been used 10 mins ago.

        • At the one here she wrote it in a book manually

    • You can try, but most restaurants have the one cashier and the discount is applied by getting the name and number of the membership. If 10mins apart they will recognize the name and probably reject it

    • If it’s a total of 4 ppl then the discount will be 25% off the food bill calculated at the end.

      • I know that. I was trying to get 50% off for 4 people

        • Alternatively you can ask Accor to issue your friend a Member for a Day certificate. This will entitle your friend the same Accor Plus Benefits for 24 hours. I think you can ask 3 certificates per day.

          • @LBriggs: Oh really ? Never knew

          • @LBriggs: LOL 3 per membership year, not per day :-)

A maximum of three (3) Member for a Day certificates may be requested per current membership subscription year

            • @zzyss: Thanks. Basically, if I only have one membership, and I have 4 people including myself, I should ask for 2 certificates or 1 to get 50% dining disc for everyone ?

              • @yht: Only need 1. Combine with your card, will cover 4 people.

Why would you want to dine at the same place within 10 minutes spacing?

    • +7

      Speed dating?

    • Use it for 4 people.

  • Tightness.

  • I wish the 50% off dining includes drinks aswell.

  • I wish it wasn’t limited to Asia where hotel are cheap anyways

    • Not sure what you think is limited to Asia? As far as I know only the 15% off drinks is limited to Asia.

      • I suspect they mean Asia Pacific, because it doesn't work globally.

  • First time doing this - can I book a 1 night stay only with Stay Plus? cheers

    • Yes you can. But they only allow a certain amount of stay plus bookings at any given time, so your booking at a 5 star could potentially be weeks/months away if your planning a weekend night. Also not all the hotels allow stay plus nights.

      • Thanks heaps mate for the info

      • You just have to keep checking. Initially, Sofitel Melbourne did not come up in my search for a certain date. Then a few days later, when i checked again, Sofitel Melbourne is in the list for the same date.

If you want to book dinner at the restraunt and you are not staying at the accor hotel, call them first to check if you still get the 50% off food deal for 2 ppl. Got stung with this on the weekend, even though we’ve never had an issue before at other accor restraunts.

    • Where was this please? Not come across this either!

    • +2

name and shame, never had this happened to me before either

    • Staying at the hotel is not a requirement for the dining benefit.

  • Has anyone booked a stay plus free night in major European cities such as London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid? Long shot but checking if it’s worth getting the membership

    • +1

Accor Plus is only for Asia Pacific… so no free night or dining discounts in Europe

    • Stupidly Europe has its own membership.

  • Existing membership expiring next month - am I able to take advantage of discounted pricing for another year - do I get Accor to cancel etc?

  • My current membership runs out 30th April but will auto renew on 12th April. If I cancel now will I lose my free night (I have not used it yet)? Is the best I swap out my current credit card for a prepaid card with like $2 on it so I don't get charged the full renewal fee?

  • Is it still possible to get a membership (or renewal) from Maylasia or HK?

  • I book a trip next week for 10 days staying at the Novotel, if i buy this deal will they credit the nights i stayed and can i use the meal and drink discounts when I'm there? or is it too late?

    • Well i signed up, will use the restaurant 50% deals locally and signed up to the business account with an abn to get the 10000 Qantas points, for some reason they signed me up to Gold straight away, and only needing 10 nights to get platnium, so will make that on the next trip :)
