Recommendations for a Slim/Mini Wireless Mouse

Hi, looking for a small mouse.

My son needs a mouse for certain school projects, but the Logitech 185 and 187, are still quite bulky.

Does anyone have any other mice they could recommend? The length and width aren't very important. It just has to be as slim as possible, to fit in the laptop sleeve.
Either battery powered or rechargeable, is fine. As long as the battery can last a week without recharging.

Thanks in advance 😊

Kmart has a basic slimmer one for $9.

Any slimmer (like the MS Arc Mouse) and it becomes very ergonomically uncomfortable to use.

I told my kid not to try pack his mouse into the laptop sleeve, because if he drops it the chances of the screen being smashed is far higher. The mouse goes into a backpack pocket.

This let me buy a mouse that isn't too slim and uncomfortable to hold.

      This 100%.

Also if the laptop screen can get damaged over time as most have a bit of flex, so if there is any pressure on the mouse, it directly applies that pressure to the lid (and hence the screen).

I've seen backlighting and LCDs get damaged that way on company laptops where folks use slimline laptop bags and pop the mouse/charger in the laptop compartment.

Ah, I'd totally forgotten this other reason. I did tell him this, and also not to pack his charging brick into the laptop sleeve.

Similarly, I avoided touchscreen laptops that use glass in them.

I like the little cute mouse in Tom & Jerry

  • Thanks everyone. I'll make sure he won't put it in the sleeve. It still needs to be a slim mouse, as he has to fit workbooks, laptop, lunchbag, etc all in 1 backpack.
I'll duck out to Kmart tomorrow, and see if they're any good.
If not, I'll have a look at the other Logitech and the Lenovo and compare dimensions and reviews.

Again, thanks for the recommendations and advice. Much appreciated 🙂

The Logitech Pebble Mouse is great. I have an iMac as my home computer so for years have been using an Apple Magic Mouse which is very slim and low profile.

I found using a regular or compact mouse for various Windows PCs at work becoming more uncomfortable over the years, and my hand would cramp if I had to spend hours using the mouse (as I did with some jobs). Bought a Logitech Pebble last year and absolutely love it. Low profile, similar to the Magic Mouse, and also VERY quiet to use, the clicks are barely noticeable.

I grab an under $10 jobby at OW, and OP gives free delivery.

One a year, basic and quite small.
