Whabbout Any waffle+jaffle units?
For waffles I have the Cuisinart vertical waffle maker. I haven't seen an appliance that does both as I imagine swappable plates that can be cleaned underneath would be tricky.
I’ve been after the same thing for ages and they all have one problem - lack of power. Similar to you, I want one primarily for a waffle and jaffle but the ones with interchangeable plates all don’t have sufficient power.
I bought this last year and thankfully Costco has decent returns because my waffles were pretty weak. Baffles were a bit better but 900W just was not enough
Yep that one. It would be perfect if it had more power! The pie maker function was excellent to have but everything just lacked oomph, particularly the waffle maker
We got one for our daughter at Aldi a while ago - in the lead up to Christmas. Maybe keep an eye out there.
I prefer the ones where the bread fits inside the plates so the filling doesn't ooze/cook out, like this one of course cheaper via Amazon. Check out the plate design of the commercial ones and try to find a domestic equivalent.
