UPDATE: Well we made it 3 days without managing to sell out, so we feel like people who wanted them have had a pretty good chance. But we want to clear the remaining stock, so we have taken off the limit. You can now buy as many as you want!

The catch is we have different starting quantities of each drive and we are not going to tell you what they are. But you can assume that we ordered based on our assumptions of what would sell fastest (so not many pinks). So you pick your colour.   Test on USB 3.0 (Z77 Intel)
  
  Read: 75 MByte/sec
  Write: 9 MByte/sec
  
  The write speed for the 1st few seconds are very fast, like 50 Mbyte/sec (indicating some kind of a buffer) but then slows down dramatically.
  
  Overall it makes a poor general purpose USB stick, but pretty impressive if you're doing a lot of reads on already written data.

    Responded to your comment below. Again it would be reasonable to allow us to at least try to fix the problem for you first. Unfortunately if you sell a couple thousand drives a few are going to fail. Which is why we always offer to replace or refund them for the customer at our expense.

I bought one after thinking it was a good deal. Plugged into my perfectly working USB 3 port on my motherboard, files transfer as if this was USB 2.0. Also tried another USB 3.0 port on my PC and a different PC all together and same issue… Either they have a massive batch of faulty USB 3 drives hence the low price; or these are falsely advertised. I will personally be staying away from this company moving forward as I suspect I would only get headaches from them if the item isn't returned in "original package" when one would not think to keep it after opening…

  I am not really sure why you expect headaches from us about original packaging, presumably you have had this experience with other retailers?
  
  If the drive is faulty as it sounds like it is we will obviously replace it or refund you and pay for shipping it back to us.
  
  I would imagine if all of the thousands of drives we sold to OZB members were faulty or falsely advertised that we would have a bit more of an uproar here than one person.
