LONG40

Got a text from these guys that they're running a Easter/Long weekend special

"Long weekend sale!

Use 'LONG40' for 40% off & 2 FREE meals!

While stocks last, offer expires Saturday 12AM

musclediets.com"

You can't choose the two free meals as they're just included when the box shows up but I've messaged them to request specific meals before and they've done it for me.

Better than the last deal as it isn't just for the first 99 people but this one does expire on Saturday so probably get in soon

They advertise then get inundated and can’t cope with volume, you’re then stuck in limbo while they’re a week behind trying to catch up. It’s a real shame.

Bad that you neg a business that’s trying to grow and gain more customers and quite obviously got inundated with orders that they may not of expected at all

When issues arise, I always encourage entrepreneurs to build trust with customers by over communicating. I’ll return if an initial issue is handled appropriately.

If you’re ill equipped to communicate and meet demand based upon your own marketing campaign, don’t advertise until you’re ready.

  • Went to order. The best seller meal packs jump up to the full rrp when you go to try add to cart

    • Aren't they always "RRP" unless there is a special?

I like them, just placed my second big batch order (total of 15) now. The packaging is minimal, so it's very easy to store and save space in the fridge. They also label each meal and come with instruction for heating up different meals.

Food seems to be fresh but I can only taste so much "freshness" when the food is seasoned the way it is. That said, in my view, they are definitely better raw material quality and freshness than the commonly found frozen meal bought in the Coles/Woolies.

Taste is subjective and whether they are good enough is really about your expectation. I can all be very picky at times, but frankly, eating out these days is easily min $20 per head and Muscle Diet's food after the discount really isn't half bad. I am not a picky eater, but I can appreciate good food when I come across one. I have tried at least 5 different meal of them so far and they are all averaging fine between 6.5 to 7.5 out of 10 considering what they are (i.e. prepcooked meal) and the price (about $8 bucks per 400g meal).

Will I buy them at RRP, maybe not, but that's not to say they aren't worth it in absolute term. It just doesn't suit my bank account. However, I will be more than happy to order more when they have sales from time to time.
