Looking for Wholesalers of Tools Either New or Secondhand

Hey there everyone,

I live next door in NZ and was wondering whether you guys know of any tools wholesalers in australia this can be new tools or secondhand. Recently I was over in the UAE more specifically in sharjah and saw a lot of secondhand ryobies and makita tools they had tags from bunnings Australia and were all faulty. just wandering if there is any place in australia that sells them.

Kind Regards

There is a kincrome outlet in Scoresby, Victoria if that helps.

    • Thank you will be on the list of places to visit once i get over in australia

  • "fell off the back of a truck" ???
dodgy guy meeting you in a dark alley?

can't imagine Bunnings officially offloading even 2ndhand .. "with their own tags still attached"… yet still faulty !!!

in terms of wholesale … perhaps try contacting some builders …

going back, mate used to work in the trade - and they specifically only bought from certain wholesale distributers (NOT bunnings) … which ONLY TRADIES could buy from … he got tools at a good rate.
Unsure if still case - or even if something similar in NZ?

Lastly - sounds like you're trying to make a business venture out of this ???
Don't forget … generally speaking tools are HEAVY … so shipping costs to NZ will be huge - prob factor in atleast $20-$30+ per tool to ship to NZ… as compared to the price you saw in UAE.

      Hey, thanks for sharing,

in regards to the stuff I saw in UAE, it was all returned items from Bunnings that had tags on them with notes stating that they were faulty not sure how the guys in UAE bought them in AUS and they obviously would not tell me as it's a business secret. Unless they knew someone who worked at Bunnings otherwise I am clueless on how they bought them. Similarly, I have seen the same sort of equipment in videos from the Philippines. I have attached the link to the youtube vids

not sure whether NZ has the wholesale thing for tradies but I will research into it.

and yes it is a business venture.
We don't mind the shipping cost per tool as it's very hard to find second-hand goods in NZ at such a large scale.

Probably got them from the people you see dumpster diving at Bunnings during the night.

In all seriousness, this. Having faulty goods end up back in consumers hands is not a situation any big corporation would want. Ryobi/Makita would likely have faulty tool destruction protocols in place for this reason.

    UAE = stolen

    Good profits, just steal stuff.
