Ignore the haters. I love my 67 inch Dikilong.

I thought carpet looked different from what is in that picture.

  • Why is it not cheap?

  • +2

Why is this a deal, where similar "luxury" mat, similar dimensions with a bit different design is ~ $42:

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Anyuainiya-Chair-120x100CM-Multi-P…

Cheaper mat is 7mm thick while this one advertises as 8.8mm, but 25% thicker shouldn't be 3x more expensive.

The one linked in the deal has a hard layer sandwiched in it and yours is flexible and can be rolled. So that's a pretty big difference between them.

    • +2

Because it's not the same product. This mat is 9.5kg and can create a hard, non flexible surface when put on carpet. The one you linked weighs….1.05 kg and is flexible. Doesn't matter how thick it is if the materials are completely different.

      • Thank you for the explanation.

Specs are showing 7kg (9.5kg seems to be with packaging), but that is still good enough to make a difference.

nope just buy a tempered glass panel from bunnings

    • That's pretty dangerous. Be aware the edge of toughened glass is the weak point, one hard tap & it might explode.

      • mine has been fine for 1 year, and I've driven off the edge MANY times

    • There is a tempered glass mat on Amazon and one of the reviews put a carpet tile from Bunnings on it and it looks good.

  • Even the 59 inch of the same product seems a better deal.

  • OP are you a real doctor?

  • Just get a free piece of scrap carpet from a bin outside a carpet store.

    • +1

Yep & if you want it harder just put some plywood underneath. This is the OzB professional method.

      • Or fondle it and you'll end up with this carpet protector thingy.

    for carpeted floor

Product image is clearly a hard floor.

It's a good mat. Very heavy and has zero flex so it's useful for putting over plush carpet. Mines on hardwood floor and it stays in place mostly due to its weight. Cant stand the cheapo flexible mats, they don't stay in place and stuff gets caught on the edges. I have concerns of the cloth material wearing through but so far it has held up for the last couple of years. Comes folded in the box and when you lay it out it looks like one big mat. Can recommend.

  • This mat seems to be expensive than my carpet and chair too 😆
