Could you please tell me what are the benefits of powder vs effervescent tablets? The powder dissolves faster. Is that it?

@WaywardOne The reason for my powder choice over the effervescent tablets is the powder contains less artificial sweeteners. The powder does not contain mannitol but the tablets have mannitol.
Unfortunately I don't tolerate artificial sweeteners well and sometimes have to take several sachets a day. Have looked at other stronger electrolyte brands including the American ones but they are unsuitable due to my intolerance. I used to take Gastrolyte effervescent tablets but they have been discontinued.
