The Good Guys Not Honoring Concierge Credit

We still have 2 items under extended warranty from the Good Guys and we noticed they stopped sending the concierge credit via text messages in July last year. The first time we rang they said the credits were up to date.
The second time, they said that they send the $20 credit out randomly instead of 3 times a year and that the email used to subscribe was "banned". As far as I know we have not unsubscribed from anything. Has anyone else experienced this.

  • Surely they could just update the email?

And I thought concierge used to be monthly?

    • Yes they could have updated it however they have never sent the credit via email, it has been through sms all these years. $20 three times a year usually ($60 per item).

concierge credit goes into digital wallet nowdays

    • Yes, they did say for any new items that would be the case but that concierge codes for existing items under extended warranty would be texted as per usual.

Yeah I bought 3 years of concierge, for the first 2 years I never got anything. 1st year they said 'you have to opt into marketing' - ytf do I need to get spam for something I paid for, regardless I was STILL getting those marketing emails from them anyway. So I changed it to 'yes' and they sent me $60 in 1 code.

2nd year I still didn't get anything, logged back in and saw that my marketing was ticked back to 'no' even though I 100% changed it previous year and was so annoyed to do it. They tried to fob me off but I was still receiving their spam emails so I said, are you confirming your opt out system doesn't work as I have multiple emails of your promotions. They sent me another $60

3rd year, I was getting $20 vouchers randomly every 1-2 months, that was pretty good.

Also for concierge, you have to sign up separately on the concierge page, not their normal tgg page, just incase you havent
