Best Crypto Tax Time Tool?

Which of the Australia compatible cryptocurrency tax services do you use and recommend?

Do you use more than one?

How much does it cost you?

Are there any you can use to estimate the tax you would need to pay on a potential cypto transaction before you actually perform the transaction?

I've used bitcoin.tax in the past for somewhat basic gain/loss calc using mostly manually entered average buy sell order details.
Costs nothing for basic usage and can 'print' exports of tax related info but need to pay if you want fancy exports.

Used Koinly before in one of their past promo deals. Was pretty easy to do.

Seconded - they do promo deals all the time so don't pay full price.

      • What's a good price promo to get it at

    I plan on using CoinLedger

Is there anything that helps me with the coins i lost in celsius?

? might be too late, supposed to register and send a claim into their lawyers. maybe check reddit + explain your situation. there are scammers around, so check the web for what the legit url should be.

Total coin value at time of 'loss', straight onto tax return to offset any current or future cgt events

    • Watch Tiffany Fong on youtube, she is also a celsius person and follows closely. https://youtu.be/26vRGGaAvJs

Cryptotaxcalculator seemed fine and iirc still had a 30% off code - I’ll be using it this year … if I can get out of red… almost there

CryptoTaxCalculator doesn’t properly record the P/L of each transaction, I’ve used Koinly in the past and it’s been flawless in comparison.

I had no idea - how is it not recording right? Might check out koinly instead and do a comparison of the figures

        • See how you go, in my case it had the wrong recorded pricing for each transaction. I also found it was a lot easier to edit and re-assign a transaction in Koinly as opposed to CryptoTaxCalculator.
