Recent experience about delivery time from Mumgo / Catch of the Day??

Hi All,

I placed a order in mumgo more than 3 weeks ago. But the order did not progress at all. The order status is the same as it was 3 weeks ago. Did anyone had recent delivery experience from mumgo and their parent website catch of the day? I am wondering is it just me or their service just unbearably slow lately. Please share your experience.

  • bought a bag on 25oct from cotd, no update till today.

  • Bought a dozen items recently off Mumgo and it took around 3 weeks for it to be delivered. Found their website lacking in information as to where things were at.

May have been longer for delivery as the items we ordered was for Christmas so was not too concerned with delivery time.

  • Hi blovers,
I'm very disappointed to hear about the recent issues with your order.
Could you please let me know your Order Number so that I can investigate and get back to you?

Because OzBargain is not an official support channel for Mumgo, I strongly encourage you to direct any questions or issues to our Customer Service teams. They can be contacted via the Help Centre linked on each website.

    Thanks,
    Elise

I strongly encourage you to direct any questions or issues to our Customer Service teams.

But also post on Ozbargain so we are better informed about which stores should be avoided…

I too have recently ordered from Mumgo and still haven't received my order. It's been nearly 4weeks and I have had no communication from them at all. I have written 4 emails with no response. I'm really disappointed in their service this time round. I have purchased from Mumgo many times and never had this problem. My orders usually arrived only 3-4 days after I've placed the order. Very disappointing!!!

  • I order frequently with COTD. It usually is roughly a 3-9 days as the confirmation email suggests. However, what I find is that sometimes if I order a lot of things through the week, the 3-9 days will not start until my last order, and then I will receive all the items on the one day.

    EG.

    1 Purchase: Monday

    2 Purchase: Tuesday

    3 Purchase: Friday

    Receive all packages following Friday.

  • I put in an order for COTD on Nov 1. No update. They are apparently relocating their warehouse and delays are expected:

    • Got an email to say that order has just been dispatched.

Exactly 1 month ago i order a heap of products on Mumgo! Since then i have had several snotty replies to my desperate please for help with my order…..

Their customer support took 1 week to respond to my initial request…. When i added to my help request that saying that the website says they would respond in 48hrs, i got a snotty reply saying don't contact them again as i would be placed at the bottom of the queue each time a amended or wrote something new to my help request. I was also told the tripe that the warehouse was moving and to wait an additional 10 business days… (This was already 10 business days after i placed the order)

Another 10 business days later… I re-opened my support request and said nothing had happened… only for my order to move to "processing" and i got the same snotty / stupid reply saying that every-time i wrote them i was placed in the bottom of their help queue…..

Another 8 days later it has now been 1 month since my initial order and my order is still "processing"
I have again opened my support request and i expect another stupid / useless reply shortly!

To summarise… in the 30days I have been waiting for my order… Mumgo have never once responded to the issue regarding my order… instead they spend more time trying to explain to them that everytime i ask for help… my help request goes to the bottom of the pile…

wow… that is really poor service…

    • I assume its their way of sorting out support request, addressing the 'older' enquiries first. Making a new comment probably makes an 'old' one into a 'new' one, if that makes sense…?

Anyway, received my free earring studs today.

  • I just received free broken earring studs as a part of Birthday bash sale. That makes 12 working days.
The bad thing is the earring received in broken condition. not happy. that was my first order from Mumgo & probably the last.

    • I got mine yesterday and it was broken as well! The stud was no longer attached to the rest of the earring but since they were free I guess it doesn't matter.

      • Mine was also broken, I know it's a free product, but I won't be using them again.

        • Mine was also broken. I posted it back Return to Sender, item arrived broken!

  • I ordered some Christmas decorations on 30/Oct, still no delivery yet, nearly one month. I sent 2 inquires, no reply so far. It is extremly frustrating. I just hope that I will receive them before Christmas. I will never buy from them again, including catch the day website.

  • I also ordered christmas decorations on the 31st October as as yet still no delivery, 3 weeks and the status still read as payment received. For the past week I have been unable to access the site at all, I have tried from various computers and still nothing. I get their emails everyday with the latest specials. I have tried the customer help help which is a joke and have received not a single reply. I cannot find any contact details at all anywhere other the the service centre email which is of no use. I am thinking that I have blown my money. I will never recommend this website again. Among the items that I bought was an advent calender for my kids and its december in 2 days - Nice one Mumgo.

  • I ordered a bunch of products about 4 weeks ago, with no delivery yet. 5 Products for my wife and baby from the Mumgo website.

Their website has no contact information, posted a question to their online help center with no response. Tried to contact their support team which promptly sent back an automated response saying that the support email is checked only 1'ce a week and I should post on their online support blog. This is so crazy, all the while the payment has been made up front with no deliver.

Whats the go MUMGO - this is so disappointed there is no possible way to contact you guys and get a decent response in an appropriate fashion. Its very unlikely I will ever be shopping with you guys or would recommend your shop to anyone especially young parents. You draw the client in with the promises of cheap, but essentially stealing our money.

Remember Mumgo you are selling essential products, and to some family's who count on these products expect them to be delivered at the price offered, in the time frame stipulated on your website. Failure to provide essential goods could lead to fatalities, especially in Infants as a result.

What is the go Mumgo ? this is extremely bad service, and considered online theft…

  • I ordered Christmas gifts and decorations from Mumgo in October. When after 3 weeks nothing had happened I checked the status of the order and it hadn't been processed. Other things I had ordered after this date I had received. They have offered other Christmas sales for items after this date and though there were things I would like to have bought I didn't because nothing had happened about this order. When it was eventually processed one of items I had ordered now 5 weeks ago was unavailable and was refunded via Paypal. I too am disappointed as the advent calendar that I ordered in plenty of time won't be here for the beginning of the December countdown. I understand about the moving warehouses etc. but please I don't think they should sell things that can't be delivered in a timely manner. There is so much competition. To Mumgo's credit when I contacted via email to enquire the first time I got a prompt reply and a credit of $5 to my Mumgo account.

  • Ordered a table and chair set for my daughter over a month ago. Received the chairs after a week or so and month later still no sign of the table or any correspondence advising of when I may expect to receive. Wont be using again. I just hope to get the product before Christmas as I purchased it for a present. Not sure how they can keep advertising that if you order now delivery before xmas is guaranteed.
