Facebook Marketplace "Access at Risk" Message

Apologies if this isn't in the right forum.

In the last two weeks I've started getting a message every time I edit any ad on marketplace. It reads "Your access to Marketplace is at Risk" and goes on to state that some of my listing go against their guidelines and if I continue, I will lose access to Marketplace completely.

Now I don't have any banned items for sale. The only items that ever get flagged are game titles that have the words cat or dog in them, and they get approved when I appeal. I have recently removed those items from the ad in question since they have sold but still get the message.

My question is, has anyone else been getting this message? It makes it hard to work out what exactly I'm doing wrong when they give no details and have no option to contact anyone.

Any advice appreciated. Don't really want to lose access to marketplace for selling.

Who knows with Facebook. The way they operate defies logic. Notifications for posts never work either.

  • What are you selling.

Probably something in your ad that their system has interpreted as "hate speech" or some bullshit like that…

    • Nope. Nothing like that. All ads very straight to point and minimal. Only ones that have ever been flagged are those that I mentioned in op.

  • I had the warning after posting up a brand name wallet to sell. Maybe they assumed it was fake as no explanation. The warnings stopped after a month or two.

    • Yeah found that link yesterday after posting. Lodged a ticket. Oddly the issue stopped a few hours later. Will monitor over next few days. I'd also removed the offending items from the ad as I'd simply left them there and written sold on those. So not sure if that also made a diff.
