What Would You Pay for These PC Builds?

Hi OzB Community,

Recently reached out to an Australian PC builder and they have come to me with two different builds.

I was wondering, to the PC experts here, what would you value these two builds at, which is better?

INTEL PLATFORM
CPU = i7-14700KF
MOTHERBOARD = Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F Gaming WIFI II LGA1700 DDR5 ATX Motherboard

RAM = G.SKill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32GB(2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Desktop RAM - Black

POWERSUPPLY = MSI 850 WATT GOLD
FANS = Aftershock Black

    The Intel is faster mostly because it has more cores. The performance difference is not as noticeable in gaming however.

    The RAM in the AMD is lower latency which translates to higher framerates.

    If the system will be mostly used for gaming, I'd go for the cheaper build. If that ends up being AMD, then I'd also consider replacing the X670E with a B650 variant as the X670E is overkill for gaming.

    FANS = Aftershock Black

    If you're buying from Aftershock the prices are going to be a lot more than anyone else.

    For Gaming AMD is faster and alot more efficient than the Intel build, Intels LGA 1700 is also a dead platform with no new CPU's being released for it.
