Queen Size Winter Quilt Recommendations

Looking for recommendations on a queen size quilt…not heavy weight but warm and doesn’t scrunch down in the corner of the cover.

Thanks

You could get a queen size electric throw. They are light, soft, and warm. Sips electricity compared to running a heater.

if sharing with someone, consider sizing up to king

      That's 100% top tip advice 87%.

    • Even if not sharing, consider sizing up to king

Yep - agreed, if sharing with someone, go with King size for winter. Wife and I share this: https://www.minijumbuk.com.au/collections/quilts/products/wa… in the winter months. It's very light and warm. Have been using it for 6 years now and gets machine washed at least once a year and still doing great. We go down to a cooler one, and in queen size for the warmer months.

That keep me nice and toasty through Canberra winters!

I suggest wool and king size too. Synthetic fibres don't breathe well and wool is thermoregulating so you shouldn't overheat. I recently purchased a single wool warm duvet from IKEA for my daughter and it's great (the made in Poland version).

  • I went with a Alpaca doona from Goulburn… awesome
