Let me send you back to equilibrium.

What is every day extra, does it give you 10% off at Big W all the time?

    • Once a month… 10% off Big W, and 10% off Woolies.

      • +1

In one shop, hmmm that's novel. So if any single shop is $70+ then it's worth creating a new Everyday extra account to get the 10% off?

        • +2

We got a half price membership and it paid for itself after a couple of shops. Worth it even at full price.

          • @Munkeyalan: Did the same, just before Xmas.
Will see if it comes up again at the end of this year, and use the Mrs ER card.

Once online and once in store. You need to do your online discount first and then you can use your in store discount later.

        • +1

Once online and once in store.

That is not what it says on their website.

          https://www.woolworthsrewards.com.au/extra.html

You can apply your Extra Discount to one in-store or online shop at Woolworths, and one in-store or online shop at BIG W every month, each within a single transaction value of up to $500.

@jv: Think of it as an ozbargain hack. I've been a member since the early release and done this every month since. Used to work when Woolworths mobile/insurance allowed the discount to be applied online as well.

Key to the hack is to purchase using the code online first. If you do the in store shop and redeem it invalidates the online code.

            • @10101010101: Is it still working?
              And for Woolies too?

            • @10101010101: Wife tells me while using it in store first hides it on the app for the rest of the month, she's still been able to apply the discount code online afterwards

              • @McFodder: I have been doing this for a while. Online redemption first and always displays in store for another redemption.

        • Ok so this is a game changer. Have tried it for both Woolies and Big W?

      • Bllx! I wish I'd known this before I spent $270 on a Spacetalk a couple of weeks ago.

I get fed up with these Everyday Rewards - I don't really understand what I'm doing with them - all these "Boost" messages etc.
And the emails are almost spam - about two or three per day.

    • once a month for $7/month.
So if you spend >$70/month at BigW it's worth it.

      • +1

        In a single shop.

        • Yes, so save it for your biggest shop.

If you get Everyday Mobile as sell, you get a 2nd 10% off at Woolies (not Big W though)

  • +6

Code for Everyday Extra is XAPR2024

    • Can anyone confirm if these monthly discount codes have invalidated cashback before at Big W?

      • Unsure. But why use cashback when the normal rate is lower than gift card discount at 5%?

        • Just incase their is an upsized tomorrow!

      • 100% yes with Cashrewards. I got one rejected and i put in a request to find out why and it was specifically because of the monthly discount code.

        • Ok thanks
