I bought this deal the other day, great price. These verbatim USB drives are slow though!

That write speed just sound painful. But the read speed is OK for occasional use.

it took h2testw about 1 & 1/2 hours to transfer 14.5gb of data.

Yep I am already upgrading my 90 minute drive to a 5 min one with 32gb (sandisk extreme), they are almost giving these Verbatims away though in view of postage cost included.
