Gumtree Seller - Long Shot Topic

So basically I purchased Dell Alienware 3423DW from Someone at Gumtree β€œsealed” and saved me few $$, it was last July 2023 and I met him at Newtown NSW, and his name is Cam. Exact location where I picked up the item is at 90 Carillon Ave, Newtown. I never had a problem until today, and dell told me they will need the invoice to replace the monitor.

Long shot just in case you are here and if you can send me the invoice that will be very helpful 🀣🀣

Or any other options with Dell without the invoice? Muzeeb help :) or should I just cop the β€œon and off flickering.”

  • Did you exchange SMS or phone numbers? Try search your phone history of messages.

    If not, as someone said, you should get email copies of the conversation.

        If it's a new model, you can argue that the model came out in 2023 (for example) and warranty is 2 years (for example).

    Could try Dell again and it was a gift from Nan… she isnt great with invoices or memory but does remember my birthday

    1. Dell sent replacement without the need of invoice, they just asked me to take photo of the serial number with my name and date on it. They are the easiest to deal with seriously. No more "try this, try that" dramas.
    2. The guy who sold me the monitor is now based in Japan and replied to my gumtree with the invoice. Late but still.
