Coles/Supermarket Online Shopping Question

If I order on a Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday do I get the next cycles promotional pricing?

For instance, Biscoff is half price starting tomorrow, if I made an order now to arrive tomorrow am I gonna be paying half the price?

Also to put it differently, If I order the half price salmon today for delivery tomorrow will I be paying $21kg still?

I don't trust what the website tells me as I know they can make adjustments after…

anyone with experiecne

    You pay today's price.
If you want tomorrow's prices then you place the order tomorrow.

  • If you order today and the price increased tomorrow, would you be ok if they charged you the higher price?

    • no, but thats what has happened to me before using Uber. and when I complained they pointed to their policy of its just an estimate and final price is charged when delivered.

Above comments are correct you pay today's price so if you want the new specials you need to order on Wednesday. Also you can't edit/adjust your order once placed, if for example you added/deleted items from a placed order on Tuesday (edited/added early Wednesday morning) all the previous specials won't apply and the new pricing will take effect.

  • Is this the same for Woolworths?

      Yes.

      • That makes sense, cheers

  • The short answer is the same as the long answer. No.
