Seems like a good option vs Ugreen dock which I was considering for my ROG Ally.

These docks with back plates cover vents. Specially with my ROG Ally but in my case I have a skull & co grip case which lets it sit firmly in the dock without the back plate holding it up.

These would be good for a Samsung Dex or a Google Pixel Desktop Mode setup I guess. Just a thought.
I don't know if the new iPhone 15 series with their USB C ports have a desktop mode/display out. If they do, even they could benefit from this.
Ugreen is better if you care about cooling your system.
