Used this cable with a portable monitor and it worked.
There is current a 25% offer at checkout and tick the additional coupon (can't remember how many percent), that should bring it to $13.19 at checkout.

SooPii 100W 10ft 2 pack - Tick the 30% coupon for $22.39
10ft is around 3m. I think the 30% coupon work for all length except 1 ft.

Not bad, but if it isn't certified you may not get the performance they claim.

I bought this certified cable when it was on special for $15 and it's been fantastic for the last 5 months.

I’m just here for the LED display, shiny

The LED display is REALLY useful. With the mess of cables and chargers we all have these days, it's great to know as soon as you plug a device in that it is charging, and at what rate. No finding out the next morning that the plug was not secure and the device you need to be charged is still empty.

        • Yeah, I was a little sceptical as to how useful it would actually be going in, but the little screen showing the charging rate is really really useful to know when for whatever reason your charger isn't negotiating at full speed.

  • funny brand name but we have the 40W charger which I bought about a year ago for $16 I think.

it's been great, the 25W USB-C speeds are decent and charge a MacBook in 3hrs or so.

    no complaints here

    This a genuine SooPee?

  • Usb 4?

    • Umm… That's what it says.

  • I can't see the voucher box to tick? Is this targetted?

  • Got 2 of these about 6 months ago. Used semi-regularly, however yesterday one of them started smoking from the little LCD display when i plugged it in to charge my phone. Was almost too hot to touch when I pulled it out.

Sorry, just double checked the actual products, these are the USB 4.0 240w cables, the ones I used were USB 3.0 100W cables by SooPii

FWIW I have about 6 of those 100W SooPii cables with display. They've all been working great and smoke-free for me. I guess there'll always be some faulty ones out there.

        • I think you have to pay extra for the smoke show ones.

    • and that's why cables of this type need to be certified. See my post above for a recommended cable (no display though, but it's "smoke free")
      :-)

I don't think certification will help with manufacturing defects; it's still possible for a certified cable to be defective. OP's problem looks to be a defective cable; otherwise everybody's SooPii cable will be smoking.

        • Well, I'd take Plugable, a reputable brand over a No-name-made-up brand any time. Certification means that the cable was actually tested for 240W charging!

@vrsac: How dare you suggest that well known SowPea is a made up name! I mean SuPee… SooPii!

            • @McFly: you meant SoPee "brand" name? 😉

    • Big tobacco wins again 😔

    • Yeah I also got them when there was a 2 pack deal available. Just 100W though, not USB 4. The display part gets really hot to the touch when I charge a 100W device though I think it’s proportional to the wattage being supplied because I don’t remember 30W being that hot.
