Optus Sub Hub Alternative

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone uses a subscription management tool like Optus Sub Hub in Australia. I can't seem to find anything in Oz (everything keeps telling me about apps in the states)
Does anyone use a service just to keep tabs on streaming and subscription services?

There's Hubbl, but I think you need to buy the device as well. It's solely aimed at streaming too - https://hubbl.com.au/

Prime video lets you stack in some subscriptions but it's pretty limited.

Personally too many of my subscriptions are unique in some way, signed up while travelling overseas (ahem), work discounts attached (like Microsoft365), and I can just keep track of them myself. I don't like being signed up to more than a couple of streaming services at any one time.

    • You don't need to have a puck/tv to be a Hubbl customer. However, they only offer Netflix and Disney+ (plus their own services) as a billing aggregator.

  • What are you trying to do? Sounds like you want to manage the costs in place, rather than see everything you pay for in one place?

I guess there is Optus Sub Hub :)

Optus Sub hub is a central place to have all your subscription services billed in one place. Generally these services give a cut to the provider, so I doubt you'll be seeing that many around.

Ironically there is a heap of US based apps to monitor your subscription costs, so you can cancel them etc, but they themselves have a subscription fee!

Best bet is your review of your credit cards and phones app store subscription page to see what you are paying for.

    • Yeah I think something like Optus Sub is good but I'm not with Optus unfortunately

    My bank statement.

  • Too many subscriptions will send you broke. $10 or $20 hear or there doesn't seem like much. Over the course of the year it could be costing you hundreds of dollars
