coating of honey dipped in milk

Or golden/agave syrup dipped in soy milk if you're not into animal abuse…

  • I've never really thought about it this way, but … Aren't weetbix a little unhealthy? It's just pure carbs. It's like eating a whole bunch of toast, no? And people slap sugar (honey is just sugar, let's be real) on top to boot. Yeah, okay there's some fibre, but surely there's better ways to get that.

most breakfast foods are carb heavy when you think about it. If I were on a strict diet I'd go with egg based breakfast or skip breakfast altogether

    • 66% carbs, 12% protein, 13% fibre, various minerals and vitamins

      Thiamin (Vitamin B1) (mg) 0.55 (50% RDI)
      Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) (mg) 0.43 (25% RDI)
      Niacin (Vitamin B3) (mg) 2.5 (25% RDI)
      Folate (µg) 69 (35% RDI)
      Iron (mg) 3.0 (25% RDI)
      Magnesium (mg) 32 (10% RDI)

      • They must fortify it. Which, I suppose, lots of cereals do, so that makes sense. Still, I reckon a piece of fruit, sausage, and egg would be better overall. 1,500kj/100g is a bit much, it's more than sausages.

Confirmed… only $2 a pack at local Foodland.

Also worth mentioning A2 2L milk $2.29, Deli Ham $14/kg and rump roast $9.90/kg (I cut it into steaks and it was actually nice and tender).

In summary…all WAAAYYYY better than Colesworth.

    • Sounds good, if you happen to live in Adelaide.

      • Word on the street is that some do…

  • Bought , good value breaky .

  • Same deal starts May 8 at Woolworths for those that missed out:
