Looking for car insurance. just third party fire theft or (low km). I found PD to be super cheap and I'm a little worried, has anyone used them? and has had good experience with them? I've seen a few mixed reviews. Thanks!

Use them and got hit. Claim process was fine, no out of pocket, my choice of repairer.
Yes, with full comp and several cars over 12 years and multiple claims (none at fault). The only problem I've had is they only do agreed value and one of our current cars is valued higher than the maximum they can offer, so that one isn't with PD anymore.
Just went to get a quote for shits and giggles.

- Their online assistant is called Pam
- You are forced to include your mobile number and consent to them calling you about your quote. FFS

usedclaimed from PD car insurance?Used them for a few years. No major issue with them. Had one not at fault claim. It was pretty easy, got a cash payout from that accident.
Changed to AAMI when I shifted house and the latter turned out to be cheaper for the new address. All insurance providers will assess suburb risk differently, so best to obtain a few quotes.
You can't choose agreed value, which I don't like
I asked them what the market value of my car was now . They couldn't tell me. But they are happy to insure my car for an unknown amount and they will charge me $670 for that privilege. Not sure I like that arrangement.
